The FedEx guy was very impressed and said that you used high quality porcelain, I didn't ask him how he knew that. But the porcelain is beautiful. I love the feel of porcelain so smooth that it has a silk like softness to it. Monah's face is much prettier than the pictures and the joints are wonderful. "I must just mention – when she arrived yesterday, I immediately saw your name on the box and said to the Fedex guy, “Oh my goodness, I wasn’t expecting this until the end of the week!” He was a nice young guy and obviously pleased to be playing his part in the early arrival of a keenly anticipated package (it was really sweet!). So I brought the package inside and of course opened it straight away ..... and I have to tell you, when I saw that box with “Monah” written on it, I think my heart skipped a few beats!!
I have never seen a doll so beautifully presented before. The sheer luxury of it! – the stylish dark red and sage green box, the brass lock and hinges, the silvery stencils ... if I hadn’t been so excited I would have taken the time to just enjoy that presentation! But of course I was so keen to see her I had the box open in an instant, and it was only some time later that I was able to get back to the box to appreciate it and enjoy that she’d travelled in such style.
